powerPerfector are very pleased to carry on affording great savings to our clients, with Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO)® continuing to be one of the most cost-effective ways of lowering your carbon emissions and reducing your electricity consumption.
A 560kVA powerPerfector unit and a 740kVA unit, both with 9% optimisation settings, were installed at York College on 9 August 2008, the college is an efficient new build completed in 2007. The following report is an analysis of the half-hourly data for the site up to 31 January 2010. The projected savings are as follows:
The college has undertaken to reduce its energy use and carbon footprint by several initiatives of which powerPerfector is a part. It has been highlightedby the College that there have been some minor equipment and regime changes in the reporting period that could not be quantified, however it is believed that a substantial portion of the savings reported are attributable to the powerPerfector installation.
"York College is pleased to benefit from the savings gained from the installation of the powerPerfector units. The financial and environmental rewards endorse our policy on energy management".
