powerPerfector has today (Wednesday 10 November) been shortlisted in the Environment Agency’s inaugural Environmental Pioneer Awards.

It follows the company’s success at the Green Business Awards last week where it won the award for ‘Low Carbon Product of the Year’ and its inclusion as a finalist in the National Business Awards as well as numerous listings in the national media as a growing company to watch. 

The Environment Agency Pioneer Awards will be held on 24 November at Central Hall, Westminster. The awards attracted over 250 entries and powerPerfector's Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO)^® will compete for the ‘Pioneering Technology and Innovation’ award.

This award recognises a pioneering product, approach or innovation that will significantly improve the environment and reduce the impact on climate change. 

The judging criteria includes:

• Demonstrable environmental improvements if/when implemented
• Value for money in development
• Potential and scaleability
• Clear business plan for bringing innovation to market
