The company saw off competition from the Dyson’s airblade, BOC and Clear Channel to take the prize at an award ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, on Tuesday 2 November 2010.
powerPerfector is the world’s only Voltage Power Optimiser, giving energy, cost and carbon savings by optimising electrical power quality and by supplying voltage at a more efficient level.
The judges were impressed at the financial benefits associated with powerPerfector, describing the return on investment as “spectacularly high compared to most energy efficiency or alternative energy generation projects”.
The Green Business Awards are the only real benchmark of excellence in the UK with an entry process and evaluation system devised by ENDS and the editorial team of Management Today.
Angus Robertson, powerPerfector CEO said: “This caps a remarkable few years for the company. We’re growing fast because we have a product that really works.”
“This is a well respected awards ceremony and the judging panel is made up of some very knowledgeable environmentalists and energy experts. So to win, in an extremely competitive category, is an achievement that makes me immensely proud.”
