Team Lynch secure powerPerfector Golf Challenge

The inaugural powerPerfector Golf Challenge was littered with low scores at the challenging Coombe Hill Golf Club. 

The friendly Texas Scramble format helped keep the ball on the fairway, meaning visits to the trees were kept to a minimum, making for a relaxed game. 

A team lead by powerPerfector account manager Samantha Lynch alongside Sean Quinney of Arena Leisure, Gary Applebee of J Brand and Chris Hughes from Lombard finished with a gross 66 and 56 points scooping top prize. 

In total, nine four-balls took part, with partners, existing and potential clients joining powerPerfector representatives at the Surrey club. 

In a surprise to everyone, the longest drive was won by powerPerfector's Sam Davey, whilst nearest the pin was a tightly run affair won by powerPerfector's Nick Harris. Both kindly donated their prizes to the charity raffle, which raised £340 for children’s charity footprintfriends.com. 

powerPerfector COO Jamie Buchanan said: “A big thanks to all those who took part in our first golf day. It was great to have some of our good friends there. The course looked immaculate and some of the golf was of a surprisingly good standard. 

“The day was an undoubted success, but I do need to look in to how two of our team manage to play enough golf to win the longest drive and nearest the pin prizes!”
