Mike Carr joins board of powerPerfector Group

The Board of powerPerfector Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Carr as a non-executive director.

Mike brings to the Board a career of experience and expertise in technology and research management.

Amongst Mike’s other activities, he is currently a Member of the Government’s Technology Strategy Board (TSB), Vice President, Trustee and Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

He is also a non-executive director of Ordnance Survey. From 2001 to 2008, Mike was Chief Science Officer and Director of Research and Venturing at BT.

Mike’s decision to join the board is a testament to the major role that Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO)^® has in both cost and carbon saving, as well as supply security, in the challenging markets that confront energy users as we move towards the energy gap and greater reliance on sustainable power.
