powerPerfector acquires global technology rights

London based energy efficiency company powerPerfector has completed the acquisition of the global IP, manufacturing and distribution rights to its cost and energy saving Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO)^® technology from its Japanese supplier.

VPO is widely used in the public and private sector in the UK, with clients including Tesco, the Environment Agency, NHS, Defra and over 160 local authorities, leading to powerPerfector being named the UK’s fastest growing green company by the annual Virgin Fast Track 100 earlier this year.

Angus Robertson, powerPerfector CEO said: “The agreement makes us a fully vertically integrated company with distribution agreements for Australia, South Africa, China, Thailand and the Philippines - amongst others. This immediately gives the company a global presence and represents a huge opportunity.

“We are already seeing high levels of interest in the technology from Europe and the Middle East and look forward to opening further distributorships around the world.”

The acquisition creates commercial value for powerPerfector by providing a secure platform for increased business growth.
