powerPerfector gains SAFEcontractor status

 

powerPerfector, one of the UK’s leading ‘green tech’ companies, has been accredited by SAFEcontractor for its Health and Safety Management System.

SAFEcontractor is a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme, dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of relevant industry specific and tailored health and safety assessments for all professions and sectors.

Michael Robertson-Lambert, Head of Engineering at powerPerfector, said: “The installation of VPO is a specialist activity, it requires specialised training and there are numerous processes and controls in place to ensure that our clients are open for business as soon as possible after installation.

“As such, we continue to drive our contractors to maintain engineering excellence. SAFEcontractor status is testament to how our engineering team successfully manage our Regional Field Engineers and our Approved Contractors.”

SAFEcontractor accreditation is expected to enhance the company’s ability to attract new contracts and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up for renewal.
