    earth from space

    Fuel costs are soaring and the National Grid has to supply voltage at levels greater than businesses really need.

    This month, many businesses are beginning to feel the bite as the cost of electricity has doubled compared to the same period in 2004. Pure physics shows that high voltage is a hidden and adjustable cost.

    Business Directors are now under dual pressure from shareholders and government to increase profits and reduce carbon emissions. To date, many environmentally friendly technologies have deterred business with their 5-20 year payback period and significant capital investment.

    Now, companies like Tesco, Land Registry, Woolworths, Burger King and local authorities like Rushcliffe Borough Council, London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Buckinghamshire County Council are investing in second-generation technologies that provide a win/win for business and the environment.

    These companies have invested in powerPerfector, a solution that enables them to reduce their carbon footprint and to gain 1-3 year payback period (30%-80% ROI) as well as protect their entire electronic infra-structure from poor power quality and potentiall damaging spikes.

    80% of businesses pay for more electricity than they need

    In a recent study of the electricity consumption of over 250 premises, research shows that;

    • 80% could reduce electricity costs by over 12%
    • 60% could reduce electricity costs by over 13%
    • 20% could reduce electricity costs by over 15%
    powerPerfector offer a free consulting service to enable businesses to evaluate the savings that can be made to electricity consumption.

    The Voltage Logging Service identifies and illustrates the minimum savings that can be achieved from Voltage Power Optimisation (VPO) technology.

    Watt's up
    air pollution

    Every day in the UK we burn 500 thousand tonnes of precious fossil fuel every day.

    That creates over a million tonnes of invisible carbon dioxide every day. If it were visible we 'd call it 'smoke'. It isn't - so we don't call it anything. That's more than the total visible land-fill waste production.

    The waste we cannot see, going to air-fill, is bigger than the waste we can see going to land-fill.

    There are ample green energy solutions to help us keep our fossil fuel treasure store intact and protect our environment.
