The most recent exceptional savings have been achieved for
Wycombe D.C.
The installation of the 560kVA powerPerfector at the Wycombe District Council Municipal Offices has reduced electricity consumption by 20.2%. Over the course of a year, this equates to a reduction of 318,941 kWh, financial savings of £24,144 and 137,145 kg of carbon savings. Graham Weston, the Energy Manager, says: “We are delighted with the results of our powerPerfector installation as it shows a higher than expected 20% reduction in energy use and costs, ensuring that the investment in this technology will pay for itself in a shorter than estimated period of 16 months. This reduction will mean that our Council’s environmental policy targets for reducing energy over the next 5 years have already been achieved, enabling us to set even more challenging targets. The cost savings will lessen the impact of the substantial increases in electricity that we have recently incurred and the reduction of carbon emissions will have a positive effect on reducing the Council’s carbon footprint.” |
